Muscat International School is located in Al Qurum. Founded in 1989, this is the first school in Oman pioneering in IGCSE/A level of curriculum. This is a co-education school. MIS provides Arabic and Islamic studies from the Omani curriculam to the students of KG to grade 12 age range.
The school has an excellent facility for the students. Besides airy and interactive classrooms, there are gymnasium, swimming pools, and a theatre hall. The drama and music class are spacious and have all the required instruments. Four fully equipped laboratories, computing suites and examination hall.
The calendar year of MIS runs from the third week of Augustto third week of June. In this calendar year there are two semester with a three week break in January.
