Marina Bandar Al Rowdha

Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, Oman's premium marina, opened in March 1996. Located in a truly beautiful setting, amidst the Sultanate's aquamarine-blue waters and craggy mountains near Al- Bustan, Muscat, the marina has a unique quintessential picture-postcard beauty that one can only hope to find in this part of the world. Presently, the marina has both wet and dry berths, which are fully serviced by modern launch and recovery equipment. There is a fresh-water and electricity supply available at all berths, as well as a fully equipped marine workshop and a 65 ton boat hoist. Most of marine-related servicing and repair needs can be met at the marina, together with supporting services. MBAR is a one-stop shop for marine leisure activities.

The Blue Marlin Restaurant:

A jewel in the Marina crown is a fine dining licensed restaurant, the Blue Marlin. Here an international cuisine is offered in an exquisite and lively ambience. Diners have the opportunity of dinning in the shaded poolside area that offers a superb view of the marina and outlying areas or in the fully air-conditioned restaurant. The temperature controlled pool has a Jacuzzi and benefits from shading from the sun. The restaurant facilities can be used for corporate entertaining, private parties and functions. Marina berth-holders are entitled to special discounts but all are welcome and no membership is required.

Al-Khayran Semi-Submersible:

A recently added attraction is the Al-Khayran, a Semi-Submersible vessel which operates in the beautiful waters at Bandar Al-Khayran. The underwater experience starts from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, where passengers embark on a fast transfer boat to undertake a half-hour trip to Bandar Al Khayran. Once transferred on board the Semi-Submersible one comes face to face with the wonders of the underwater world. Passengers will witness many species of underwater life, colorful display of corals and different types of ref fish as well as discover the unusual rock formations that are thousands of years in the making. The whole two-hour trip is full of opportunities to witness the beauty of Oman’s marine life and gain a truly memorable experience.
