Petroleum Development Oman is owned by the government of Oman. It is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate. It produces more than 90% of the country's crude oil. PDO also develops and operates ntural gas and their associate production system on behalf of the Goverment of Oman. PDo was established in the year 1962 and exported its first consignment of oil in the year1967.
