Sultan Qaboos University is a leading public university in the Sultanate of Oman. Situated along the foothills of Oman Mountains, the design and the architecture of the building reflect the traditional Islamic heritage.

In 1986 the University commenced with five colleges and then was joined by the college of Arts, Law and Nursing in the following years. The academic program is divided into Undergraduate and Postgraduate.
